We offer construction-integrated landscape & landscape design, so landscaping is both cohesive with the home, and done while home construction is happening (rather than after). Ideal Build is a relatively small, hands on firm that prides itself on quality craftsmanship, and hands on site management. We firmly believe a home must be built on site, not from a computer or an office, so we are very involved in every one of our projects. Due to our boutique nature, we are very selective of who we work for, how many and what projects we take on. Quality over quantity is our fundamental guiding principle.

Jason is a rare blend of tradition and innovation in construction. His journey, sparked at 6 in his grandfather's workshop, flourished into a passion a few years later in his father's landscaping firm. By 21, he’d built his own construction company, now one of Canada’s premiere luxury custom home builders. Jason's rich career in the construction industry has made him one of the brightest and most knowledgeable minds in the business, guaranteeing not just high standards, but an unmatched commitment to understanding construction technology.

Meet Racheal Srochenski
OFFICE MANAGER
Meet Racheal, the process and budgeting backbone of Ideal Build. With over 24 years in Administration, Bookkeeping and Office Management, and a BA from Brock, Racheal is the Stalwart of Spreadsheets and Systems. Her passion lies in structuring, maintaining, and continuously improving every aspect of operations and ensuring all projects stay on target. As a dedicated mom of three, she brings the same nurturing and supportive qualities to her role. Racheal is the heartbeat of our business, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our office and our clients.
Meet Michael Kenel
LANDSCAPE DESIGNER & MANAGER
Michael has had an illustrious 30+ year career in commercial and residential landscape design and management. He’s a certified Landscape Designer and Architectural Designer, heading up our Landscaping division. He’s designed and built hundreds of outdoor environments across Ontario, but his speciality is navigating complex sites and working on eco projects - he hasn’t met a challenge he can’t overcome. At home in Dundas, Ontario, he's a family man; husband, father and grandfather.
